For the DWI Screening and Assessment Provider Listing for Suffolk County,
The Stony Brook DDP administers the Drinking Driver Program in Suffolk County (DDP). Our DDP program is the largest program in New York State and covers all areas of Suffolk County.
If you are convicted of an alcohol or drug-related driving violation, your license or privilege to drive in New York State will be revoked or suspended. You may be eligible for a conditional license upon enrollment in the DDP through your local Department of Motor Vehicles. Under New York State Law, an individual convicted of driving while one's ability is impaired by alcohol or drugs results in a mandatory license suspension, and violators must participate in the (DDP) as part of their conviction.
The Drinking Driver Program comprises 7 sessions, with a total of 16 hours of classroom education, a screening, and evaluation and/or further treatment (if necessary).
PLEASE ALLOW UP TO 72 HOURS FOR US TO GET BACK TO YOU!
